Schedule of Fees

Dr Dow is a registered provider with most major health insurance companies.

Fees for Self-Funding and privately insured patients:

New Patient consultation: £250.00

Follow-up consultation: £170.00

Investigations, scans, blood tests: Fees vary – please ask for quote

Steroid injections in outpatient clinic: £250.00

(Plus small private hospital fee for drugs and consumables)

Injections and procedures in operating theatre under local anaesthesia:

Single injection site / single procedure code: £300.00

Two or more injection sites / multiple procedure codes: £450.00

Radiofrequency denervation procedure: £600.00

Optional: Intravenous anaesthetic / sedation in theatre: £100.00

For injections in operating theatre the admitting private hospital will charge a day case admission and procedure fee. (Quotes can be requested from the private hospital admin team)

If you are privately insured then these fees are covered by your insurer.

WARNING: there may be a shortfall between your insurance company’s scheduled fee maxima and the above quoted fees. If this is the case then any shortfall is payable by you, the patient.

BUPA and AXA Health Members:

Dr. Dow is a BUPA and AXA Health fee-assured consultant and is part of the BUPA Premier Partnership. BUPA and AXA Health patients can therefore be reassured that, apart from any excesses quoted on their individual policy, they will not have to pay any excess fees or shortfalls when being treated.
